Know the Signs
Gambling is entertainment. It becomes a problem when it starts affecting your finances, relationships, work, or mental health. Warning signs include:
- Betting more than you can afford to lose
- Chasing losses — betting more to win back money you've lost
- Lying to family or friends about gambling activity
- Missing work, school, or family obligations because of gambling
- Borrowing money to gamble
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or depressed when not gambling

- Time limits — Set session length limits
- Self-exclusion — Exclude yourself from one or all Ontario licensed operators through iGaming Ontario
- Reality checks — Pop-up reminders of how long you've been playing
